Happy Mother's Day Fellow Moms

I hope all of my fellow moms had a delightful day. As a mom to 3 and a step-mom to 2, it is nice to be celebrated and recognized for what I do for my family every day. My own mom, Sherry Maroney passed away a number of years ago. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out and she is truly missed every day. Mom taught me many things, including leading by example being an amazing, giving, loving mom. Another great mom in my life is my step-mom, Barbara Maroney. Barbara is a loving, beautiful mom in her own right, and I couldn't have asked for a better step-mom. She inspires me to be a good step-mom to my own step-sons with her great example. My grandmother, Mammaw, is in my view the sweetest person on our planet and I have never ever heard her raise her voice to me or any other. It is a challenge for me to live up to the incredible examples these three women have lived, and others who have been in my life as well. My Mammy, my other grandmother, has passed on as well, but while she was here taught me much about love, strength and having a beautiful spirit. So today I want to say thank you to all of these wonderful, amazing women in my life. Each of you has been a gift in my life and a part of my growth and who I am today and I love you very much.
